Exactly what it says… I will help you to design your interior or exterior spaces. Sounds complicated? Doesn’t have to be. It actually should be and is fun! That’s what I tell all my cients. “This is supposed to be fun” when I see that they are getting overwhelmed. Well, no need to worry, I will put your mind at ease!

Designing can be as simple as painting a room or as complicated as changing an entire home. I can help you transform your space from dull to bright…from frumpy to fabulous! The ideas are endless, and I know it can be overwhelming, but that’s where I come in. I will help you to focus on your vision of what you want to create for your home but don’t know where to start, or start and don’t know which way to turn next.

I have a longtime client who has the ideas, and knows what she wants but just can’t make certain decisions. Again, that’s where I come in. I’ll see your vision and take you on that journey from concept to completion.

Fashion Interior Design

Created by Madeleine, Fashion Design is Interior Design with Fashion in mind! It’s a way to I create a new look, and a way to dress your home like you would dress yourself. Sounds kind of bazaar but really makes a lot of sense. Most of us put so much time and effort into how we look, buying new clothes and accessories to create a look for ourselves to feel good.

It’s no different how we live our lives day to day in our homes. What we project on our bodies is the same way we should project how we feel in the way we dress our spaces and environment.

Say I love the color grey, or love to where scarves and flashy jewelry, why not paint my bedroom grey and drape fabric in a way with some jewels around my bed?

Why not if I love the color red in a mini red skirt, and a pair of mod white leather boots, take that same look and buy a red red leather sofa and a white fluffy ottoman for my living room?

It’s fun, it’s unique, it’s expressing ourselves in a way that our environment can show our personality.

I have always been unique growing up, a bit abstract, colorful, expressing myself in a way that was fun, energized and artistic. Our homes don’t have to be cookie cutter, they can be original and expressive in so many ways.

Interior/Exterior ReDesign

Exactly what is ReDesign? It is taking what you have in your home and using it in a different way or in another space.

It is transforming what you already have and love, and utilizing it somewhere else in your home. Searching and hunting in closets, basements and attics for hidden treasures that you never thought would work in redesigning a room or space in another way!

Redesigning can mean decorating your home with second hand items you find on OfferUp, Craigslist, FB Marketplace, or at a local garage sale or estate sale, an antique shop or thrift store. The possibilities are endless.

I can help you do all of this and more. It happens to be my specialty, I have created it in my own home! 75% of my furnishings and accessories have been purchased this way.

It’s my favorite place to be, my haven, my heaven here on earth.

One Day Makeovers

Madeleine Interior Design can help you change your spaces with minimal time and money. You do not have to spend lots of time and money to create a spectacular design for your home. By investing only one day we can transform a room, a space or a closet together with a little bit of planning,, organization and creativity into a new and beautiful one day makeover.

Home Staging

Having worked with a professional stager, I learned the trade, and then was able to stage a home in Basking Ridge, NJ, when it was successfully sold in 2018.

When it comes to new construction homes, designing them can be exciting! You are starting with a new palette, and brand new space. I was able to design a clients new home/condo in 2016. The best client, myself! What an exciting time for me, along with my husband we furnished and decorated our home with new and repurposed, and secondhand items. We were able to sell items from our previous apartment in order to purchase for our new home. So you can say, our design was New Construction along with Interior ReDesign,
